I have reasonable knowledge of Macromedia/Adobe Flash, but I just can't understand how to add keyboard commands! By this, I mean to be able to have the user press a key on the keyboard and then have something happen such as to have a movie clip play.
Is there something like
';some key'; OnPress = function (); ?
And then also is there a way to sense when the key is released?Adobe Flash: how do you control things in a flash movie with keyboard buttons?
yeah you need some action script. when i am creating flash i use www.flashkit.com
here you can get plenty of full free flash files. if you search on this site and find a fla that is close to what you are looking for you can just use that action script, copy and paste.
