There might be a control in your display properties. Right click on the desktop and click properties. Click settings and advanced. Look thru the tabs for a brightness or gamma control.My monitor brightness button is broke....is there any software that can control com brightness?
Your video card software can normally brighten the screen. If you use an ATI card the settings are in your catalyst program.
