lol I do BOTH those things! The remote thing, I don't know. But I open my mouth cause...Um...I don't know....Poll:why do you press harder on the buttons of a remote control when you know the batteries are dead?
It's red when it's oxygenated...and it appears blue under the skin when it's not.





The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering.











We press harder because of frustation.. and we want to assure ourselves that we did everything we could without having to get up and change the batteries.





Woman open their mouths because they tilt their heads back. So it's easier to relax the jaw than to have it closed while you tilt your head back.
Because we're squeeeezing out that last bit of battery power. And opening the mouth probably stretches the skin or something to that effect.





And the sky is blue because of light wavelengths refracting in the atmosphere. Only blue makes it through all the atmosphere, everything else disperses in the air. And our blood is red because of the reaction with oxygen. It's naturally blue.
1. because you are in denial. dead batteries are a hard reality to face.

Because sometimes the batteries aren't dead, I'm just not pushing the button hard enough.
